Screen printing is one of the oldest and most fascinating methods of textile design. What is screen printing?
Screen printing is a printing process where a design is applied to textile through a fine-mesh fabric (the screen). In this process, the screen is coated with a light-sensitive emulsion, which is then exposed. The unexposed areas are washed out, creating a printing form that shows the desired motif. Afterward, ink is applied to the screen and pressed through the open areas onto the textile using a squeegee.
